Canvas Of The Month: A Nice Night Out At The Theatre

September 01, 2015

A Nice Night At The Theatre Wall Art
Our canvas of the month is... "A Nice Night Out At The Theatre" by the Artist Indian Taker!
This canvas features an appropriated photograph of Abraham Lincoln with the addition of a pair of tickets to The Ford's Theatre superimposed over a tracing of the original image. The tickets represent the final place the President visited before he was assassinated which gives the canvas a melancholy and slightly humorous tone. The finished canvas looks very elegant when hung in a classically styled room, and also compliments minimalist or beige décors.
"A Nice Night Out At The Theatre" is a great vintage-style canvas which looks amazing in most classical interiors. It would make a great addition to anybody's study, lounge, or hall.
